As a Ball State student living in the residence halls, you will also be able to eat your meals on campus. Dining serves a variety of food at convenient locations throughout campus. When you sign the housing/dining contract to live in the halls, you may choose a meal plan at that time. You may choose from the following meal plans:
We encourage students to choose the meal plan that best matches the kind of "eater" he/she is. That means that if you're accustomed to eating three meals a day, you probably would prefer the 21 Meal Plan or 18-Plus Meal Plan. If you only eat two meals a day, you may want the 14-Plus Meal Plan. *In addition, those meals with the word "Plus" in their name include Dining Plus money with a specific number of meals you may eat during the week. Dining Plus may be used to purchase meals for yourself or guests, snacks, or beverages at Dining locations during regular business hours. For students who live in the University Apartments, a meal plan is not included in your contract. However, you may still eat at the Dining locations and use cash for purchases, or purchase a commuter meal plan. Commuter meals plans are available at the following prices:
To sign up for a commuter meal plan, visit the Ball State University Dining Office at Carmichael Hall, Room 140. |
